Practical Issues

How do I know if counselling is right for me ?

I offer an Initial Consultation at £30, where we can discuss if counselling is appropriate for your needs, with no obligation on either side.

How often and where ?

Usually counselling sessions are at the same time each week. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in a comfortable private consulting room in Harris House, The Pinnacles, Harlow.

How much does it cost ?

Sessions are £30 (a limited number of reduced cost sessions may be available to those who are unwaged)

How long will it take ?

This depends on you, the work we do, and the problem. Deep-rooted problems may require weekly sessions for many months, while some other problems can be addressed much more quickly. My minimum contract period for counselling is 8 sessions.

Smoking & Access ?

There is no smoking, and unfortunately, no wheelchair access at Harris House.
